So, I am at a point where I am looking for direction in my art, both in terms of stylistic approach, and to what end I wish to achieve.  Part of me secretly wants to do art for a living, but I doubt I have the resolve (and currently, the skill) to reach such an endeavor.  I do really want to try and share my art out there at some of the art shows I see posted from time to time, but I am still trying to find the best way to approach that particular endeavor.  I am starting to build a portfolio of what I consider my better pieces.... but that will take some time. For now, I do not lack subject matter, it is more or less just finding the time a

So, it has been quite some time since I have written or posted anything on here.  As I tend to do, I will wander away from dA for an undisclosed number of months, only to return with something new and shiny in my hand.  In this case, I come back without something... that of the dreaded art block. I have never had this problem before...ever....and I feel a little weird for it, but I have more art projects and sketch excursion ideas in the works than I have time for. I think the dam of creativity, in place for many years, has finally broken. May the waters flows free.... I have done more art, but I lack a scanner to upload anything of good

So, I was sitting down and going through all my ideas for projects and pictures to work on, and this is what I have so far: -Angry Balloon Head -Depressive Balloon Head -Landscape - Layered washes (take my time on this one) -Easter Painting (I would like to make prints of this one, if it turns out like it is in my head) -Space painting (I have a piece of watercolor paper prepped with black acrylic.  Not sure how water color will go over, but it should be interesting to play with.) -Reaching flame - a small idea I have in mind that would look well with pastel on Mi Tienes paper. -I want to redo Sins of our Fathers - I didn't like how so
